Our services

Life Transitions

Life transitions are a common reason for coming for counselling.

When your life changes course, it can be helpful to have extra support. Change is an inevitable part of life’s journey and can often be scary and overwhelming, whether it be a positive or negative change.  As humans, we often require balance and safety and try to resist change. At Juniper Tree Counselling Services, we can work together to support individuals, couples and families through lifes inevitable changes.

Depression

When you are feeling down, hopeless or depressed, it doesn’t feel like anything can help. But there is! Counselling can help to alleviate many of the symptoms that one experiences when feeling depressed.

2SLGBTQAI+

If you are seeking unconditional acceptance and respect, strict confidentiality, a collaborative counselling approach, a calming office environment, and helping clients who self-identify as LGBTQIA+, you have come to the right place! Every identity is welcome here.

Suicide Ideation

Suicide affects people of all ages and backgrounds. It is also more common than people think. Many people experience thoughts about ending their life or of not being here anymore, for many different reasons. There is no one sign that someone is considering suicide. Most people will show a combination of signs, while others will show few or no signs. One of the best ways to help with reducing and/or eliminating thoughts of ending your life is to talk with someone who will listen without judgement and who can offer the appropriate support.

If you, or someone you know, is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical support, call 9-1-1.

If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
